The SECRET to reducing Cramps

I know SO MANY MENSTRUATING PEOPLE who deal with cramps.

I myself am lucky to only deal with cramps as “referred pain” in my back. ...still not so fun, but a lot less debilitating than traditional cramps.

As of recently, I’m blessed to say, I’ve been able to reduce those pesky back cramps!

The secret to reducing cramps?

Before you go watch this YouTube video, it’s important to know that cramps happen because of increased prostaglandin activity in the uterus during & before your bleed phase.

Prostaglandins are released by the uterus as the lining of the uterus sheds.

When a menstruating person has a lot of estrogen, then the lining of the uterus gets thicker. And if the lining of the uterus is thicker, then more prostaglandins are released.

In this YouTube video I share how to eat in a way that reduces estrogen and inflammation, so that less prostaglandins are released.

Similarly, if you’re lying in bed with cramps and not getting circulation...then cramps can become worse too. In this YouTube video, I take you through approachable movements that you can do (in bed if you want!) so that you can improve circulation and help reduce cramping.
